Marine Weather Buoy
Increasing awareness in the state of our environment and its continued degradation has encouraged us to venture into remote sensing technology. With partnership from Metocean Engineers of Australia, we were able to secure our first contract for the turn key deployment of the country’s first meteorological buoy. The three meter diameter floating laboratory will enable measurements of basic weather phenomenon plus wave motion and sea surface temperature. Data is transmitted to the PAGASA DIC for visualization of weather experts.
